WFTO – World FairTrade Organisation 

WFTO contributes to sustainable development by offering better trading conditions to, and securing the rights of marginalized producers and workers. They strive to change unfair structures of international trade, mainly by means of Fair Trade. Fair Trade is a trading partnership, based on dialogue, transparency and respect, that seeks greater equity in international trade. Sukha’s founders Irene Mertens and Sam IJsbrandy travelled to the poorest regions in India and Nepal where they jointly developed the Atelier Sukha product line-up with local communities. Their mission is to create more Fairtrade employment opportunities in these countries.
