100% waxed organic cotton, oilskin – Europe

Crafted from organic cotton and coated with natural wax for a patinated finish, this fabric is naturally breathable and lightweight. The wax adjusts to ambient temperature, becoming softer in warm weather and stiffer in colder, windier conditions, enhancing its protective qualities. Over time, the waxed cotton will naturally develop crease and a patina of wear, adding unique character to each piece. The fabric is produced in the UK by our specialist supplier of waxed cotton and weatherproof textiles.

Do not machine wash or dry clean.

Sponge-cleaning spots with only cold water and rewaxing over time to maintain the coating.

Leave on a hanger when not in use.

When it’s time to wear your oilskin coat/jacket again, we recommend hanging it outside to air out the material and help reduce the natural scent of the coating.
