All packages are shipped with DHL from our store in Amsterdam, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
For small packages outside the EU, we use UPS Express Shipping and for big packages, we use PostNL (carries parcels over to local shipping companies).
This incense is made from Makko, a natural binding and combustion ingredient derived from the bark of the Machilus thunbergii tree (known as "tabu no ki" in Japan).
Makko has been used for centuries in Japanese incense-making, prized for its ability to act as a gentle, odorless binder that ensures clean, steady burn without glue or synthetic additives.
Incausa uses upcycled off‑cuts of Makko from their production, combined with fine ingredients sourced sustainably — including Palo Santo, cedarwood, and sandalwood — to create an incense collection that reflects a vision of ecological consciousness and ritual tradition.
Never leave burning incense unattended; only burn on a safe surface like the ceramic elbow pot or the incense holder. You only have to burn the Incausa incense for a few minutes, and the scents will already spread lovely across your space.
