An elegant scarf made from handspun silk on traditional Nepalese handlooms. The scarf is square and detailed with two raw edges, two folded hand-stitched edges, an aiayu logo and dainty stripes adding a feminine touch.

100% Silk – Nepal

This silk is handwoven on large traditional Nepali looms in a local workshop in Kathmandu. Our aim is to preserve and support traditional craftsmanship within Nepalese communities. Everything is crafted using tradiotional techniques, and each piece is finished by hand to minimise waste.

Gentle hand wash, cold, with environmentally soap.

Soak insoapy water for 10-15 minutes. Rinse in cold water. Avoid wringing during the process. Dry flat.
