This piece is made using Sujani, a traditional craft from Gujarat, India — now on the verge of disappearing. Only a few artisans still practise this age-old technique, including Rafiqbhai, who works on one of the last traditional looms.
This beautiful item is the result of a close collaboration between artisan and designer. Together, they’ve created a design that honours tradition while meeting today’s needs — keeping the craft alive, one piece at a time.
Handmade by Rafiqbhai for Raasleela.
