A classic oilskin coat made from organic cotton canvas with a natural coating based on olive oil. Designed with a regular silhouette, delicate collar, hidden horn button closure, and convenient side pockets. The coat is lined with soft corduroy along the collar and cuffs for an elegant, refined look. The natural oilskin coating gives the fabric a unique, matte finish that makes it both durable and wind- and water-repellent. Please note that, due to treatment with natural olive oil and without any chemicals, the jacket may have a slight scent upon receipt. This scent will gradually fade over time.

Organic cotton, coated with olive oil for a natural and slightly patinated wax finish. Naturally breathable and light, the wax adjusts to ambient temperature, becoming softer in warm weather and stiffer with more wind-proof qualities in cold conditions.The waxed cotton fabric will naturally develop creases and lived-in marks over time, adding character to each piece.The fabric is crafted in the UK at a supplier that is specialized in waxed cotton and weatherproof fabrics.

Do not machine wash or dry clean.

Sponge-cleaning spots with only cold water and rewaxing over time to maintain the coating. We recommend using Halley Stevensons Everwax for reproofing. You can purchase it online and at our stores – please make sure to follow the guide for reproofing.

Leave on a hanger when not in use.

When it’s time to wear your oilskin coat/jacket again, we recommend hanging it outside to air out the material and help reduce the natural scent of the coating.
