Pleasant Place promotes the cross-pollination of art and gardening. Collaborations with both experts and artists make Pleasant Place both informative and practical as well as surprising and inspiring.Each issue is dedicated to a single garden related topic: a person, place, plant, phenomena, or technique. As you collect – either all issues or just your favourites – you built your own, personalised garden encyclopedia.
The second issue is dedicated to one of our favourite garden plants: nasturtiums. It’s a happy plant that, due to its start color contrast, has been painted a photographed a lot. We interviewed a well-known Dutch artist-gardener about nasturtiums, her favourite plant. Also, nasturtiums are edible. So we asked a chef to develop a couple of recipes for us. And much more!
All packages are shipped with DHL from our store in Amsterdam, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
For small packages outside the EU, we use UPS Express Shipping and for big packages, we use PostNL (carries parcels over to local shipping companies).
