The wool comes from the nomadic yak, native to the Mongolian steppe. Yak wool combines robust durability with exceptional warmth, softness, and resilience. While its fibres are slightly coarser than cashmere, they have a distinctive, soft texture that makes them less fragile, making the product more durable.Colours starting with 'pure' are undyed and unbleached, allowing the natural colour of the fibre to remain unchanged – offered entirely as found in nature, with every variation in tone and perfect imperfection this entails. The wool is sourced from a local cooperative of Mongolian herders. This partnership is essential for preserving the herders’ traditional way of life through the artisanal production of natural fibres from heritage Mongolian breeds.
