Double Noir (black): 100% full grain oily leather re-tanned with hot vegetable grease, very resistant to water.
The thickness of this leather makes it very robust boots, that will beautifully age over time. They use tannery Degermann, which also supplies Hermes, Ralph Lauren, and other luxury brands. This particular leather, tanned with hot vegetable fat, is very supple and has great resistance to water. The vegetable used for dyeing are oak, rosemary, and chestnut.
La Botte Gardiane recommends 100% natural grease.
