Hand-woven by Xavante (A’uwe) artisans in Brazil’s Cerrado, the Baquité carries generations of forest knowledge in every strand. Each piece is made from wild-harvested buriti palm fibre, taught by tribal elders and woven into a form that’s light enough to carry all day, yet strong enough for the long walk home.
Incausa collaborates with artisans, villages, and associations of eight different native ethnicities mostly in the Amazon. Acting as a non-profit patron, subsidizing logistics and production. And developing sustainable retail and wholesale market-placements.
